Abstract
The Case Study documents the evolution and role of women community level leaders from MSAM (Mahila Swasthya Adhikar Manch) in Empowering the Dalit and Backward Caste women in rural areas, by making them aware of and demanding and claiming the health related entitlements, nutrition and food security, social security, prevention of violence against women and political participation at the local levels.
