Improper planning in procurement of equipment by National Institute of Nutrition as well as failure to enforce performance on terms of supply order by supplier resulted in equipment worth ₹ 1.52 crore lying idle and equipment worth ₹ 2.13 crore not being put to optimal use for more than five years.
